This year, as part of Master Magnet’s busy exhibition schedule, the company will be demonstrating its range of magnetic separation and metal detection equipment at IFAT 2014.

Largest international recycling tradeshow

Taking place in Munich from the 5th to the 9th of May, IFAT is one of the largest international recycling and waste management tradeshows, hosting almost 3000 exhibitors from over 50 countries.

Master Magnets will be demonstrating an Eccentric Eddy Current Separator and an Overband Magnet on stand C1-527. Overband magnets have become the industry standard for Tramp Iron removal from conveyed material and Master Magnets produce the most extensive range of permanent magnets available that can operate up to a distance of 400mm above the conveyor, the largest on offer in the industry.

Eddy Current Separators are used for the separation of non-ferrous metals from wood, glass and plastic recycling applications. The unit on display will be separating aluminium from a range of recyclable materials.
